Think less, do more!

Think less, do more! This phrase describes how I want to start my first blog post the best.
My name is Akvile. I am a third year
Creative Industries student at Vilnius Gediminas Technical University. Right now I am on Erasmus+
program in Kortrijk, Belgium. This spring semester I will be studying Digital Creative Projects in Communication in Howest University of
Applied Sciences.
I think that Erasmus is learning about yourself and the world. Each day you can have unusual experiences, travel, find friends from different countries. You actually say YES to every single opportunity without much thinking because you are afraid they will not happen again. You make yourself out of the comfort zone and it keeps you alive. You learn how to live on your own.
This blog about Erasmus life is also my way of learning. As a communication student it is important for me to have writing, storytelling, photography skills, have knowledge about different media channels. I accept it as a challenge because it is my first experience with blogging. If you never try you will never know what you are capable of.

I will blog for myself, my friends, family and all
Erasmus community. I want my stories to become memories that I can read anytime
in the future and that my photos will not be kept only in my smartphone gallery.
I wish myself good luck!
P.S. fun fact! I have been in Kortrijk before in Octobor 2012 and since then I have always wanted to study abroad. At that time I was on exchange program, living in Belgian family and having various fun activities in Belgian school. That time was one of the best experiences I have ever had and it is such a big coincidence that I came back to this small town. On the first week of classes I had a project activities at the same school. I recognized the trees we planted with my Lithuanian and other teams from different countries. I had to take a picture there because the feeling that my footprints are still alive here is unbelievable! I guess I had left something in this city before so I had to come back for almost the same intention...
